This Friday, October 8th, the law school community will gather again to help one of our neighbors, the Norris Square Civic Association (NSCA).
Last year, we held our first community service event with NSCA, refurbishing various buildings in the recently purchased St. Boniface parish complex. NSCA, a community based organization serving the Norris Square neighhborhood of Philadelphia, is moving their offices to the the rectory of the complex, and needs help in getting the many rooms ready. Last year, some of our most dedicated volunteers hauled out what seemed like tons of debris and old fixtures from the basement of this building.
We hope to paint or prep the almost 30 rooms in the rectory building, as well as clean up the courtyard and surrounding area. Last year's event was a lot of fun, and we are thrilled that we can return to St. Boniface and NSCA this year. If you think you would like to participate, here are the details:

Buses leave Liacouras Center at 12:30pm, will return to Temple after work day.
