Information on the scholarships listed below has been posted to the Financial Aid page of the law school website. The Financial Aid Office is also currently updating the listing which appears on the website of scholarships, grants and loans from outside sources, and we encourage all students to review the list to see if there are any scholarship opportunities which they may be eligible to receive.
Sam Gomez Scholarship - This scholarship was established by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation in memory of Samuel T. Gomez, a Temple Law graduate who dedicated his life to serving the underprivileged, disenfranchised and abused. Every other year the scholarship is awarded to a Temple law student who demonstrates scholastic achievement and who shares Sam Gomez's commitment to community service. Deadline: October 11, 2010
Pennsylvania Bar Foundation Scholarship - This scholarship fund provides eight $3,000 scholarships, four of which are specifically designated to support historically under-represented ethnic minority law students, to Pennsylvania residents attending an accredited law school in Pennsylvania. Deadline: December 1, 2010
Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania - This scholarship program provides assistance to Hispanic students enrolled in law school in Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley. Deadline: October 1, 2010.
