Careers in Survivor Advocacy Panel at Penn

One of the University of Pennsylvania Law School's pro bono groups,
Students Against Gender-based Exploitation (SAGE), is hosting a
"Careers in Survivor Advocacy Panel" on Tuesday, October 4 at 5pm, and
all interested law students in the area are invited to attend.

SAGE is a student-run pro bono group sponsored by the University of
Pennsylvania Law School. Our mission is to serve survivors of domestic
violence, rape, sexual assault and other forms of gender-based
exploitation. The project engages these issues in a variety of legal
frameworks, including family law, criminal law, civil law, and legal
education. SAGE aims to provide legal training and hands-on
experience to students interested in direct service work with
survivors of trauma, and strives to prepare students for the social
and psychological needs of a client that arise while engaging the
client’s legal case

The purpose of this career panel is to give law students, especially
1L's just entering law school who are eager to explore their career
options, information about the types of careers that are available to
them if they are interested in these issues.
