So what is the PIE Fair? A celebration of baked goods? I wish! Although a room full of bakers and their best efforts would be a dream come true, Temple's Public Interest Experience (PIE) Fair is a great event also and is not to be missed.
On Thursday, September 22, from 4-6pm in Shusterman Hall, representatives from local public interest agencies and pro bono programs will gather to talk to you about their work and to hear what you're interested in. If you're looking to do some volunteer work, ask questions about internships, post-graduate hiring, or simply get some practice talking to employers in an informal setting, this is the place to do it. You don't have to dress up, you can come for part of the time or all of it. The employers love meeting our students, so the more the merrier.
I hope to see many of you there. There will be light refreshments (including cookies!) and lots of great information. Contact Maureen Olives at molives@temple.edu or 215-204-3705 if you have any questions.
